Matching using short-circuit stub

We try to match the output of the amplifier tex2html_wrap_inline3367 to a 20 mtex2html_wrap_inline3455 termination.

The matching network design procedures

  1. Locate normalised admittance for tex2html_wrap_inline3003 on the Smith chart as point tex2html_wrap_inline3459. Since tex2html_wrap_inline3461. The normalised admittance tex2html_wrap_inline3459 should be at tex2html_wrap_inline3465.
  2. With a section of 50 tex2html_wrap_inline2807 line, convert the admittance until it has unity normalised conductance, point A as the Figure shown, i.e. Transfer the admittance, toward the generator, until it meets the unity conductance circle.
  3. Add a parallel short-circuit stub section to cancel the susceptive part, i.e., Transfer from short-circuit to point B, toward the generator.
