Brief Technical Profile: Dr. To received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MSc degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Earned prior to joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. To has five years of industrial experience in the development of consumer products and computer products. His current interests are in embedded systems and robotics. Dr. To has served the Hong Kong Chapter of ACM as the chapter's Secretary and Chairman.
